We distribute 200,000 to the local community!

NTP's Gift Fund has made its first allocation of donations, and has thus distributed half of the fund's funds for 2022.

Over the years, Avery Dennison NTP has provided support to companies and organizations in the region. This is something that one wants to continue with, and we have therefore established an annual gift fund of NOK 200,000. Half the sum will be issued in the spring, and the other half in the autumn. The first application deadline for this semester was April 30 - and the applicants were many!

The Gift Fund has been established with a desire to stimulate engagement, inclusion, development and activity, primarily in the culture and sports sectors. The award is made primarily to teams, associations and organizations, but also to individual sports and cultural talent, mainly to the Indre Sogn region.

By the application deadline of 30 April, 21 applications had been received with a total application amount of almost NOK 500,000. The majority of the applicants were local, where everyone had a burning commitment to the purpose for which they were applying for funding.

A recurring theme was various local groups that applied for funding for upgrading the outdoor area and playgrounds. This is to create a gathering point with activity, for both children and adults in the local area. In addition, we received applicants from various sports teams and voluntary organizations who wanted to maintain, improve or expand their existing range of activities.
