The world's biggest club?

The football club Klabu's ambition is to become the world's largest club.

The name is taken from Swahili and means club, and Klabu is a charity that works to give refugees an offer through sports. They work with the local population and build and equip football clubs in refugee camps in Africa.

There are almost 30 million refugees in the world, and more than half are under 18 years of age. It was in one of the largest camps in Kenya that Klabu was started. The idea was to use sports and play to make a difference in the lives of the young refugees. The club functions much like a sports library where equipment and games are lent out.

Every year, the world's biggest football clubs launch new kits and there is as much fashion and trend as sport in focus. But did you know that one of the coolest suits this year comes from Klabu?

Avery Dennison is proud that we have extended our partnership with Klabu, and in the new agreement we are also the costume sponsor for their latest collection. We recommend everyone who wants the coolest suit on the market, and everyone who wants to contribute to a good cause to click on www.klabu.org and buy a suit. Here you can also read more about the organization.

Avery Dennison delivers woven badges, hanging labels, transfer badges and packaging to Klabu, and this will be the third year we collaborate with what we hope will be the world's largest club. Their goal is to have that position by 2022 and we cheer on Klabu!

Heia KLABU!

“Everyone who wears the Klabu suit is a living advertising poster for what we stand for. It's more than a suit, it's a badge of honor. You do not buy it because of the colors, you go with it because you know what it stands for!

- UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
